Test and tagSydney projects.

Planning electrical testing for a Sydney school, resort or multi-site workplace? We're Brisbane-based, and we take on larger projects further afield by arrangement. Here's how to plan it — and how to check whether we're the right fit.

Availability

Larger projects — by enquiry

We're based in Highgate Hill, Brisbane, and our confirmed day-to-day coverage is Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. For larger school, resort or multi-site testing projects further afield, enquire to confirm travel, scheduling and availability — we'll give you a straight answer.

Planning a multi-site testing project

Larger testing projects live or die on logistics. The useful starting point is a site list: how many buildings or campuses, roughly how many items in each, and any access constraints. With that, any tester — us included — can give you a realistic quote and a workable schedule.

For schools, that usually means classrooms, IT trolleys, staffrooms, labs and workshops. For resorts and hotels, it's guest-room appliances, kitchens, laundries and back-of-house across each building.

Timing is everything

The reason clients choose us is scheduling. Term breaks, pupil-free days, changeover windows and low-occupancy periods are the natural times to test — and the earlier they're locked in, the better. Whatever city you're in, book your window before the calendar fills.

Any scheduling we agree to is exactly that — agreed in advance, in writing, with no surprises on the day.

What to prepare before you enquire

A rough item count per site, your preferred testing window, and who can provide access to each building. If you have previous testing reports, they help establish what's due. Recommended retest intervals under AS/NZS 3760 vary by environment, so a previous report is the quickest way to know where you stand.

Schools & campuses

Schools & campuses

Coordinate Sydney campuses before choosing dates

For a Sydney school group, prepare a campus-by-campus schedule rather than one combined appliance total. Classrooms, science rooms, workshops and boarding areas need different access arrangements; a large overall count can hide a small but difficult-to-access site.

Ask each campus to nominate its available holiday or pupil-free windows and whether staff can unlock secured areas. Do not assume every site shares the same calendar. We assess the combined scope and dates before confirming whether a Brisbane-based visit is suitable.

Resorts & accommodation

Resorts & accommodation

City hotels and multi-property accommodation

Sydney accommodation enquiries are most useful when room appliances are separated from commercial kitchens, laundries and conference facilities. A city hotel may have a short changeover window while a second property has different occupancy and building-access rules.

Provide each property's vacancy pattern, loading or parking arrangements and the person who can coordinate housekeeping. Grouping sites may help define a workable project, but travel, scope and scheduling still need to be agreed before any interstate booking is confirmed.

Plan the route, not just the item count

List each Sydney address and the order in which access is possible. Travel between campuses or properties belongs in the project plan, especially when the available windows are short or buildings require separate inductions.

If head office needs a particular asset reference, purchase-order process or report handover, mention it with the enquiry. We can discuss those requirements without promising a custom format before it has been reviewed.
