01Test & tag Gold Coast

Built for the Coast's accommodation industry

Resorts, hotels, motels and holiday apartments hold enormous amounts of portable electrical equipment — kettles, hairdryers, irons and lamps in every room, plus commercial kitchens, laundries and back-of-house. We test it all, planned around your changeover days and quieter periods by agreement so guests barely notice.

Multi-building properties are fine. A zone-by-zone plan means occupied rooms are worked around, not through.

02Test & tag Gold Coast

Schools, construction and hospitality too

Beyond accommodation, we test across Gold Coast schools, construction sites, offices, cafés and restaurants. Power tools and portable RCDs for site compliance, classroom and IT equipment for schools, and kitchen appliances — including microwave leakage testing — for hospitality.

03Test & tag Gold Coast

One visit, one report

Everything is inspected, tested and tagged in the same visit where possible, and your report is emailed with the invoice. It's the record your insurer or auditor will ask for, and it makes the next retest simple to plan.

04Timing is everything

Plan the visit around your Gold Coast site.

Schools & campuses

Schools & campuses

School campuses beyond the classroom

Gold Coast school testing needs to include the equipment that moves: laptop trolleys, extension leads for events, workshop tools and appliances in shared halls. Allocate a place for mobile equipment to be available on the day so a room-by-room visit does not miss items stored elsewhere.

Discuss classrooms, administration, canteens and any boarding facilities separately. A term-break booking still needs keys, an on-site contact and coordination with holiday activities; preferred dates are agreed when the work is scoped.

Resorts & accommodation

Resorts & accommodation

A room-turnover plan for Gold Coast resorts

A resort inventory is more useful when split into guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house. Housekeeping can identify vacant rooms, while engineering or maintenance can arrange access to kitchens, laundries, workshop equipment and conference facilities.

Flag rooms in use, appliances in storage and any equipment moved between apartments. Testing can then be discussed zone by zone around your occupancy, with a clear record of what is accessible and what needs a later window. No booking should assume all rooms will be vacant together.

05Before you enquire

One property, several buildings or a managed portfolio

Include the number of buildings, the room count and the addresses of separate properties. Lift access, parking, reception sign-in and the gap between checkout and check-in all affect the practical sequence.

For a managed apartment complex, clarify who authorises access to each unit and who receives the testing report. That avoids confusion between housekeeping, property management and individual owners before the visit begins.
